Royalties distribution mechanism

12 snapshots per quarter – 4 per month

• You MUST hold at least 1 Book at the last snapshot to qualify.

• Each quarter, every Book will “carry” an amount of ADA. That will be determined by the total royalties divided by 160.

Example 1: If we have 12.800 of royalties at the end of a given quarter, each Book will “carry” 12.800/160 = 80 ADA.

Bonus scenarios

1) If a Book is held in the same wallet for all 12 snapshots, it carries a 100% royalties distribution bonus + raffle ticket. This is a Diamond Book.

2) If it’s held for 8-11 it carries a 75% bonus

3) If it’s held for 4-7 it carries a 50% bonus

4) If it’s held for 1-3 it carries 25% bonus

Example 2: Book 001 is held by wallet X for 3 snaps, then by wallet Y for 8 snaps, and finally by wallet Z for the last (12th) snap. Based on example 1, wallet Z will receive 25%/80 ADA = 20 ADA. Wallets X and Y will NOT receive any ADA because they did not hold during the last (12th) snap.

Example 3: Book 002 is held by wallet X for 5 snaps, then by wallet Y for 3 snaps, and finally again by wallet X for the last 4 snaps. Wallet X is holding the Book for a total of 9 snaps meaning it will receive 75%/80 ADA= 60 ADA.

Surplus raffle By the mechanism described above there will be leftover/surplus of ADA left by some Books that have changed hands throughout each quarter. In the above examples there is a surplus of 60 ADA by Book 001, and 20 ADA by Book 002, so a total of 80 ADA. This is only an example for 2 Books, the actual amount for 160 Books will be higher.

Each Diamond Book holder will receive 1 raffle ticket to win 50% of the surplus ADA each quarter. The rest 50% will be included in the semester BIG raffle.

Semester bonus: If a Book is held in the same wallet for 24+ consecutive snapshots at the time of the royalties distribution, it (the wallet/owner) will participate in a BIG prize raffle of ADA and/or CNFT rewards.
